This course focuses on promoting sectors with employment opportunities. Looking at transferable skills and the progression opportunities available in the sector we will link learner’s skills and interests to available local employment vacancies. Working in partnership with DWP and Employers we will arrange for Employers to visit and “sell” the work in their sector and their specific vacancies. We will ensure that participants are work ready, have an up to date CV and have had interview practice. Employers will have the opportunity to offer interviews to learners who wish to apply for their roles. This course will be for any learner who is unemployed or those who are low-skilled seeking a career change.
