DESCRIPTION:For Universal Credit claimants only. \nAre you between 18 – 30 and not engaged in any training\, education or work\, and want to find out more about working for the Department for Environment\, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) in the Civil Service? If so\, sign up for Defra’s Virtual Movement to Work Programme.\nAre you interested in finding out what it’s like to work on topics including the environment\, farming\, and food? • Defra offers a wide range of jobs\, including project management\, communications\, HR\, policy\, and analysis.\n• The programme is virtual and will be held on Microsoft Teams. It will last for one week (Monday to Friday\, 10am to 3pm) from 20-24th March 2023.\n• Whilst on the placement you will be assigned a buddy to support you\, offered workshops on job applications and mock interviews\, take part in projects focused on communications and team-work\, and participate in lots of skills sessions to develop your knowledge throughout the week.\n• At the end of the placement\, you will receive a certificate of completion from the team\, and will be able to add this excellent placement to your CV. \nTo find out more please make an appointment via the Contact Us page.
